A private & secluded vacation cabin rental, overlooking Tappan Lake. Located between Cadiz, Ohio & Uhrichsville, Ohio on St. Rt. 250 & Township Rd.215.

This insulated cabin with full basement is Open all year round. It is complete with 2 bedrooms with a new beds in each room. Sheets, comforters, towels are included, the bathroom features a full tub w/ shower.

Walk into the living room & lounge on the queen size sleeper sofa in front of the entertainment center & Fire place, a T. V. & VCR, CD player, Phone are just steps from the fully appointed kitchen. Equipped with Microwave, stove, fridge, toaster, Brunn coffee maker, new gas grill, ( please grill on the deck! :-).  silverware &dishes, pots & pans, window air conditioning in 3 rooms. A picnic table & fire Pit add to the outdoor feel of a well-forested private lane.

Along the back of the cabin 2 large picture windows allow a view through the trees of the Dam area of Tappan Lake. Step out through the sliding glass door onto the full 2^nd story deck & feel as if you are suspended up inside the tree canopy. Deer & turkey are often seen early in the mornings. Squirrels often drop nuts on the roof & a red headed woodpecker is a frequent visitor in the area. Relax on a park bench on the edge of the woods; enjoy the scenic vista of humming birds & assorted creatures in this private nook. Shell some of the provided corn & toss over the hill for God's littler creatures. This may attract some early morning deer/ turkey visitors. (Look for the green bin in the basement, only a couple of ears! PLEASE).

A public landing & ramp is located at the foot of the hill & the Tappan Lake Marina is just up the lake.

Hiking, fishing & swimming can be found at the Tappan Lake Park. The water ski zone is quite roomy and boat swimming is allowed in designated areas. Hunting abounds in the area.

Look up the latest hiking trail in the area.  the Conotton trail features 6 miles + of paved surface passing the old railroad through 4 local towns including Bowerston, Ohio & Scio, Ohio.

Sea World, Amish products, golfing, hiking, shopping & Fine dining are only a 25-min. drive away.

Located at the foot of the hill is the Lakeshore Restaurant, featuring a trained gourmet chef. (CLOSED)

Tappan Lake has 2,350 acres of water, maximum depth of 34 feet. Fish include Channel, Flathead Catfish, Bullhead, White & Largemouth Bass, Pan fish, Walleye, & Saugeye.

The cabin is located 1/8 mile off St. Rt. 250 & township road 215. look for the Pine tree on the right 3/4's up the hill. the mail box has my sign on it.

Between Cadiz, Ohio & Uhrichsville, Ohio. 20 minutes from the New Philadelphia exit on I-77. Or 20 minutes north of St. Rt. 22.
